Did you see Come Dine With Me?

Franklyn and Lady Annie      Sarah Jane and Lady Annie  (write up see below)

I am Annie Targett,

since I was a little girl my passion has been dancing. I turned professional in my late teens and was fortunate that my chosen career path helped me to travel to exotic locations and enjoy the rich tapestry of life.
I am now married, with a family but still love to dance.
Recently I was selected to appear on Come Dine With Me, the channel 4 show
All the contestants were encouraged by the production staff to proved some entertainment I wanted something fun, enjoyable that would help make my evening a success.
I was introduced to Franklyn I was very cautious as I had never salsa danced before.
He called to my house brought some music and within one hour had convinced me that the standard was good enough for national TV.
The next day was my hosting evening it was a great success  and proved to be the winning night of the week. I am sure part of this was due to the fun we all had salsa  dancing.
I just want to thank him for putting me at ease helping me learn to salsa making my night a great one and being a nice guy and perfect gentleman
Kind regards
Lady Annie Targett

Franklyn Miller is a dance teacher, performer and choreographer providing salsa classes in Manchester and the North West.

His passion for the music, combined with his longstanding interest in African history, led him to research and author the paper “The African Origin – an Evolution of Salsa Dance”, which challenged the popular concepts that surround the origins of salsa.  A revised version of this article has recently been published in the USA as part of a compilation of essays entitled “The Interwoven World”.
Franklyn has also provided lectures at the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University as a guest lecturer.

With a long career of teaching at national and international salsa congresses and events, Franklyn’s style of dancing and teaching never fails to deliver the wow factor to his students whilst bringing the spirit of salsa to the dance floor.

Franklyn got into salsa purely by accident. He went to a club, admired this dance and never looked back. He started with Cuban style then LA on 1,and now New York on 2.

Brigitte said "au revoir" to France and came to live in sunny Manchester in 1990. Whilst here, she discovered salsa and now there's no turning back;Brigitte is hooked to it! Dance has always been part of Brigitte’s life, having spent most of her teenage years dancing ballet, jazz and rock’n’roll… her parents said to study more, but twinkle toes knew better.

Franklyn and Brigitte have a proven record in helping students develop their dance skills and tailor their lessons to suit their ability. Their classes are fun, funky and very popular; they don’t take themselves too seriously so you can have a laugh while learning fun moves and footwork.
With Franklyn’s unique jazzy style and Brigitte’s french flair they never fail to excite. They teach in Manchester and are regularly invited to teach at events and congresses both in the UK and abroad.
As well as the list of classes that they teach they are also available for classes, demonstrations, parties ,one to one tuition and wedding choreography.
